Hi, I’m a mom raising a child with ADHD.

Our journey really began in August 2024, when my son was diagnosed. He was 7 years old. Before that, I often felt confused, overwhelmed, and quite helpless. My son always had behavioral issues at school (everywhere we go, really). I didn’t fully understand what was going on, and it felt like we’ve tried all the parenting tricks and tips and nothing was working. To be honest, his diagnosis gave us so much relief. Now, everything made sense.

In February 2024, I started sharing our experience on TikTok. It was a way for me to process everything, but also to connect with other parents who might be feeling the same way I did. Isolated. Unsure. Trying to figure things out as they go.

The more I learned about ADHD, the clearer things became. I started to understand that my son wasn’t being difficult—his brain just needed a different kind of support. What works for neurotypical children, won’t necessarily work for my son’s neurodivergent brain.

ADHD doesn’t just affect the child. It affects the whole family. It shows up in your routines, your communication, your patience, and your daily life in ways you don’t always anticipate.

So we are constantly adapting.

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education—including Montessori and IB classrooms—I began creating simple tools and routines to support my son’s learning and independence at home. My husband and I are both educators, and together, we started building systems that actually worked for his brain.

Nothing complicated. Just practical, realistic tools that we could use every day.

This space is where I share those tools, along with the routines, strategies, and lessons we’ve learned along the way. Everything here is based on real life—what worked, what didn’t, and what we adjusted.

If you’re here, chances are you’re trying to support your child too. And if you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure of what to do next…I completely understand!

Our hope is to help other families navigate these challenges with more clarity, more support, and a more positive mindset.
